Terms of Service
The working agreement for using StudiBudi: accounts, acceptable use, subscriptions, content rights, limits, and support responsibilities.
Clause 01
1. Acceptance of Terms
Agreement
By accessing or using StudiBudi, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
Eligibility
StudiBudi is available to learners and educators. Users under 13 should use the service with parental or guardian supervision and consent where required.
Modifications
We may update these terms from time to time. When changes are significant, we will post a notice in the platform or contact users by email.

2. Accounts & Registration
Account Creation
You may register with email and password or through a third-party provider such as Google. You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure.
Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration and update it when needed. False information may lead to account suspension or termination.
Security
Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized account access. StudiBudi is not liable for losses caused by your failure to protect account credentials.

3. Use of the Service
Permitted Use
StudiBudi is for educational use. You may generate study material, flashcards, tests, lecture notes, essays, and other learning resources for personal or institutional academic work.
Prohibited Conduct
Do not use the service unlawfully, submit harmful or infringing content, attempt to hack or reverse-engineer the service, use scraping tools, resell generated content without authorization, or impersonate another person.
Academic Integrity
StudiBudi is a study aid. You are responsible for making sure your use of generated material complies with your school, employer, or institution policies.

4. Content & Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain ownership of documents, text, images, and other content you upload. You grant us a limited license to process that content so we can provide the requested features.
Generated Content
Generated study material is provided for educational use. You may use it for learning, teaching, and revision, subject to these terms and applicable policies.
Platform Property
The StudiBudi name, logo, design, software, and underlying technology remain the property of StudiBudi and its licensors.
Accuracy
Generated content may contain mistakes. Always verify important academic, legal, medical, financial, or safety-related information against authoritative sources.

5. Subscriptions & Payments
Free Tier
StudiBudi may offer a free tier with limited usage. Free usage limits and available features can change as the service evolves.
Paid Plans
Paid plans provide higher usage limits and additional features. Pricing and plan details are available on the Pricing page and may change with reasonable notice.
Payment Processing
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. By purchasing a plan, you agree to the applicable payment provider terms. Fees may be listed in Nigerian Naira unless otherwise stated.
Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Contact support within 14 days if you believe a billing error or serious service issue warrants review.

6. Termination
By You
You may delete your account through settings or by contacting support. Personal data will be removed within the retention window unless we must keep it for legal or security reasons.
By StudiBudi
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, harm other users, abuse the platform, or create security or legal risk.
Effect
When an account is terminated, access to the service ends. Stored generated content may be deleted according to our retention practices.

As Available
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
No Guarantee
StudiBudi does not guarantee academic outcomes, exam results, uninterrupted access, or error-free generated material.
Liability Limit
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StudiBudi is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
Availability
Maintenance, updates, outages, and infrastructure issues may temporarily affect availability.

Updates
We may revise these terms. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice when practical.
Continued Use
Your continued use of StudiBudi after updated terms take effect means you accept the new terms.
